  2. These events led up to the Revolutionary War:
British imposing new taxes, in order to cover the costs of the French and Indian War, they imposed taxes on EVERYTHING.
Stamp Act, which required a stamp on every single piece of paper that was taxed.
Boston Massacre, when British troops open fired on unarmed colonists, killing several, and fueled the fire for a revolt.
Boston Tea Party, where colonists, fed up with British taxation, threw thousands of pounds of tea into the sea and was the most famous event.
All of these events and several more eventualy led up to the Revolutionary War.

  3. One of the things that led up to the Revolutionary War was the French and Indian War. The stamp act was also a major contribution that caused riot. People got mad and caused a massacre but with a shooting of 5 colonist and British troops. The British also decided to dump 342 whole crates of tea into the Boston Harbor. Then other places started to do the same thing. So people decided to boycott. And as you see the cause of the Revolutionary War was mostly about the frustration of the colonist and how products were being taxed.

  4. Rebecca the British didn't dump the tea, actually the colonists did. It was to protest the tax that England was imposing on the colonists. I am sure that is what you meant, once again good job. I can see that you have learned much.
