What kinds of struggles did the Patriots endure during the Revolutionary war?
During the revolutionary war the patriots had to travel a lot through different places in the cold and most had to have body parts amputated. The reason they traveled a lot is because they were fighting defensively against the red coats.
During the Revolutionary War, the patriots were mostly militia men hastly drawn together. The Continental Congress didn't have much money, so most of the patriots didn't have uniforms. They also were provisioned with little food and lived in dirty camps, where they were likley to get diseases. In this time, there wasn't much to offer medically, and so if wounded in the arm or leg, docters would probaly amputate the limb because if not, you probaly would catch gang green and die.
